Sea Life in Konstanz

On one of the rainy days we had lately (way too much rain this summer!), we headed to Sea Life. A newly built aquarium in Konstanz, a German city at the other end of the Bodensee.

To get there we had to drive through Switzerland along the Bodensee and cross into Germany. 3 countries just to go and see some fishes!

We had a coupon 2for1 and the kids were free - just how I like it. Because otherwise I would have been mad. I know we are spoilt with the aquariums we have seen lately close to Nashville: Chattanooga and Atlanta, which are both amazing. In comparison this one just pailed. But the kids had fun and were super excited.

Finn especially was just running from one exhibit to the next and kept yelling: "Look mama, there is Nemo. Papa, I see Dorie. And there is Bruce." I guess we did let him watch Nemo a few times :-)

The aquarium is located right by the lake and we got to play outside afterwards. The weather had dried up and we even got to spend some time at the nearby playground.

It was a nice trip and we have another coupon, so we might be back soon if the weather is not getting any better!

Finn had kept his fishcrown on for a long time

Lots of ducks and swans by the lake
