The kids loved having her and she was a great sport with them. She had 2 little girls herself and therefore it was easy having her around the kids.
I picked her up at JFK on Saturday afternoon and unfortunately the weather was awful that day - windy, cold and rainy. But we took advantage of that and went to the mall to take care of her shopping requests. That night we had yummy dinner at home (Ben had made lasagne) and caught up on each other's lifes.
On Sunday the kids and I took Eva to the city. We walked to Times Square, took in the scenery and then took a cab up to the Natural History Museum (Eva is a biologist and Finn loves that museum). We visited the special Whale exhibit and then walked through Central Park where Finn and Lilly took a nap in the stroller. They got to see a great puppet show before we had lunch in a New York Diner.
We then walked Eva back to Grand Central Station where she took the bus from to JKF and we took the train back home.
Great 24 hour visit to NY! We hope you will come back soon.
At Times Square - note Eva's new pink sneakers. Great purchase at the mall!
Part of Park Ave was closed as they were shooting the new Spiderman movie. Cool!
The kids wanted to watch videos on Eva's phone
